Research Activity

The Pain Relief Foundation promotes research by maintaining and supporting the Pain Research Institute and offers competitive grants for experimental and clinical pain research.

The Foundation advertises internationally to invite well established research groups or individuals to apply for grants to work on chronic pain research or to fund laboratory equipment.

The Pain Research Institute receives no funding from the NHS, the University or any other government body. It is entirely supported by charitable donations, fund raising and specific research grants.
