PhD Studentship
The Pain Relief Foundation is pleased to announce a prize PhD
studentship to enable a young graduate to embark on a research
career in human chronic pain. Applications are invited from universities,
academic institutes and other potential project supervisors for
this prestigious studentship for human chronic pain research.
The grant award will be tenable for three years and will carry
a tax-free stipend and tuition fees totalling £16,250 in the first year, with increases
in years two and three. In addition, there will be a small budget
available to cover consumables. The total grant is unlikely to exceed
£58,000 over 3 years.
Applications should include the supervisor's CV and complete details
of the proposed project. The application should name two academic
referees.
Closing date for completed applications is February
4th 2011.
